Instructor Name:Sifu Michael Dimaggio
Contact:sifumike09@hotmail.com
Other Information:Sifu Mike came to Kung Fu in 1989 due to sustaining massive injuries in a construction accident. His prognosis was that he would never be able to walk correctly again, and would most likely need future surgeries. His cousin introduced him to her Kung Fu class and told me they do a lot of stretching and flexibility work, so he gave it a try.
Eighteen years later he has now dedicated his life to the art.
He now owns and operates USA Kung Fu Mashpee where he has trained hundreds of students over the past ten years. He also has had above average strength and flexibility, no adverse effects from my prior injuries, and has never required any hospitalization or further surgeries from his accident and attributes these facts directly to my continuous Kung Fu training over the years.
Sifu Mike earned First degree Black Sash in 1997 and then title of Tai Si Hing in 2001 from there he earned his 2nd Level Black Sash in 2005 and was awarded 3rd Level Black Sash and title of Sifu in January of 2005.
Besides serving our country in the USMC Combat self defense training, basic training at Paris Island SC 1985-1989 he developed "Kung Chi Cardio" system for cardio workouts in 1999, continues to run these classes. He is also an AFAA certified cardio instructor, weight room trainer 2000-2004
