Tai  Chi Chuan does not discriminate based upon the
practitioner's age or physical ability and with good
practice the rewards will be infinite. Mastering Tai Chi
Chaun would take a life time, but the benefits from
practicing begin immediately.

Although Tai Chi Chaun is typically promoted for health
and well being. It derived from Kung Fu about 500 years
ago and is considered to be the masters level or the
advanvced art of defense. Like Kung Fu, practicing Tai
Chi Chaun or "grand ultimate fist," can be affective on
its own or can compliment traditional Chinese medicine
for illness, injuries, and general well being. Each form
of practice or application of Kung Fu, Tai Chi Chaun,
and Chinese medicine can help one improve the three
aspects of well being (mind, body, and spirit). On its
own or any combination of the three different types,
practiced together will provide even more benefit.

Mind
- Avid practice allows us to meditate and allows us
to have clarity of thought, focus, improved use of both sides
of the brain;relives stress, and much more.

Body

meridians, organs, and mind to promote self healing. They
also require the use of every muscle group, ligaments,
tendons, and sinews. This in turn leads to better range of
motion flexibility, strength, body awareness, agility, and
other numerous benefits.

Spirit
- When all is well within us, we are happy and
confident; this in turn let's our spirit soar.

Taoism is the philosophy encomassing the "martial"
and the "art" of Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chaun, as well as
how practitioners approached medicine originating from
China, thoousands of years ago. Taoism uses the
simplest concept of "opposites" (Yin and Yang) to
explain the most complicated principles.
